Nathalie Rossel, creator and founder of the brand, imagines and draws each piece of jewelry by hand using a black pencil. She then calls on the best local craftsmanship to bring her creations to life. Each design is therefore unique and specific to the brand ,un chic fou.

All finishing touches are carried out by hand, with care and precision, by our artisan jewelers whose workshop is located about 20 kilometers from our Geneva boutique.

We work with rhodium-plated 925/1000 sterling silver to ensure greater resistance to oxidation and a finish similar to platinum. We also use brass plated with 18-carat gold (5 microns) to ensure optimal durability over time.

Our un chic fou linen comes from France, the world's leading producer and a guarantee of the highest quality. Grown according to strict organic farming principles, it is naturally sustainable: low in water consumption, pesticide-free, and completely biodegradable.

From root to flower, nothing is wasted. Every last bit of fiber and fabric is used, even in the smallest items: towels, tea towels, and baskets. A truly zero-waste approach.

For the weaving, we chose a family business in Lithuania that shares our values of authenticity, quality, sustainability, and a deep respect for human relationships and craftsmanship. Their production site runs solely on renewable energy and is now fully powered by solar energy from a photovoltaic park on their own site!

Working with linen requires understanding it: knowing how to cut and weave it to reveal its natural beauty. That's what motivated our choice. Unlike industrial sites that stack dozens of tablecloths to "slice" them with a press, our partner works piece by piece! They pull the thread to cut each piece. Similarly, the fringes are made by hand: a hand-sewn seam determines the frame, then the threads are pulled manually one by one! Meticulous craftsmanship that is rare these days.

We have chosen a quality that reflects our values. A thick, raw linen (270g/m2), pre-washed to prevent shrinkage and ensure optimal softness, while retaining that natural look that we find so comforting.
