HOW DOES THE WEBSITE WORK?
un chic fou presents one to two collections a year, depending on the creativity of the founder, Nathalie Rossel. The pieces, produced locally in small quantities, are restocked as soon as possible.
The brand’s flagship styles are restocked year-round, regardless of the season. “Last Chance”: special restocks and final pieces from last season, sometimes even at rock-bottom prices… In addition to these collections, un chic fou unveils “capsule” collections. These are pieces produced in very small batches and limited editions.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL AN ITEM IN MY ORDER?
Once the order has been confirmed, you cannot cancel it. You can only return the items to us for a refund once you have received your package, within 7 days. If you wish to change an item in your order, please do so before confirming it.
PAYMENT
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
Payment for your order on our website can be made:
– By credit card (Visa, American Express, and Mastercard)
– Via PayPal
– By e-gift card
Our online store does not allow payment in installments.
Please note that for bank transfers, your order will only be shipped once the funds have been received in our account.

In order to minimize its environmental footprint, un chic fou DELIVERY ONLY IN SWITZERLAND.
For Geneva:
un chic fou offers a “Click & Collect” option in Geneva only. Orders are placed and paid for on the website. You can then pick up your order at our un chic fou store, located at 8 Rue Verdaine, 1204 Geneva. Once you’ve selected this option, you can pick up your order in person during our business hours:
Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday – 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
For the rest of SWITZERLAND:
– Packages are shipped within 2 business days.
– Please allow 1 to 3 business days to receive your package after shipment.
– Shipping costs are CHF 10 and free for purchases over CHF 200.
ONLINE RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
HOW CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?
You have seven days after receiving your online order to return your purchases for a refund if they are not suitable. The product must not have been worn, used, altered, washed, or damaged. Please place each item back in its original packaging to ensure a smooth refund and facilitate the work of our logistics department. We do not offer standard exchanges. For a different size, model, or color, simply return your original item and place a new order on the e-shop. You can choose to return your item(s) by registered mail (at your expense) or drop them off at our store (free of charge) at Rue Verdaine 8, 1204 Geneva.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY REFUND?
Returned packages take between five and ten business days to be delivered to us. We advise you to keep your tracking number safe. Only items received at our store will be eligible for a refund or exchange. Once your package has been received, please allow a few days for our logistics team to process your package. You will receive an email to notify you when the refund has been processed.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS AT POINTS OF SALE
You have thirty days to return or exchange your purchases for a credit note or another item un chic fou if they are not suitable.
The product must not have been worn, used, altered, washed, or damaged.
The credit note is valid for thirty days from the date of return of the item and can only be used at the point of sale where the return was made.
Items that have been customized for you in any way cannot be canceled, and such items cannot be returned to us for exchange or credit. This includes products that have been engraved or embroidered.
JEWELRY CARE
WHAT ARE YOUR MAINTENANCE TIPS?
Silver jewelry: Silver jewelry naturally oxidizes when exposed to air and moisture. Occasional cleaning with a special cloth will keep the silver shiny and remove oxidation. To minimize oxidation, store your silver jewelry in a sealed bag away from air.
Gold jewelry: It is not recommended to wear jewelry while sleeping, bathing, or exercising. Also avoid contact with perfumes and cosmetics. The patina tends to fade over time. How quickly it fades depends on how the jewelry is cared for. Fading patina is the result of natural wear and tear, which is perfectly normal.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY JEWELRY IS DAMAGED OR BROKEN?
We recommend that you first contact the store where you made your purchase. We offer a free repair service for 30 days from the date of purchase upon presentation of proof of purchase. This service is offered free of charge provided that the damage to the jewelry is due to a manufacturing defect. After this warranty period, our after-sales service can offer you a repair for a fee, if possible. A quote will be provided for your approval before any repairs are carried out.
HOW DO I CHANGE THE STRAP ON MY BRACELET?
Our cords are made from 100% natural cotton, so wear and tear is normal and inevitable. Our e-shop offers a selection of cords in different colors. Otherwise, have fun! And feel free to try any string you have at home or simply go hunting for some at your local haberdashery store!
LINEN CARE: UN CHIC FOU LOOK
Our 100% ethical and eco-friendly household linen is pre-washed to prevent shrinkage.
You can wash it at 30°C for items with handmade fringes and at 40°C for other models. We always recommend not overloading the washing machine for optimal results. Similarly, linen can be tumble dried on a delicate cycle, without overloading the machine so that the items are gently tossed around. Our household linen will then regain its original softness.
